Two tips:  (most commonly reported troubles)

1) Make sure you've gotten to the screen that has the "keyword", "title", "author" etc. search boxes before you try to log in or create an account.  The first screen (says "Dunbar Free Library" in the center) is District Users login only and won't let anybody except the administrator log in.

2) When placing holds, click on the title of the item you really want (make sure you've selected the book and not the audio, or the DVD, not the VHS) so that on the right hand side you see the "hold it!" button.  If looking at one item or a list, there is an "add to this list" option on the right, under 1 of 1 available or 0 of 1 available, but adding something to a list WILL NOT place it on hold.
