Our Hours have Changed in January

 On Monday and Wednesday our new hours are 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.  We will no longer close at 5 and reopen from 6:30-8:30.

      Winter/Spring Story times start up again January 11 and 12. Wednesday at 10 for Lap babies and Toddlers, Thursday at 10 for preschool and kids who can sit still for longer stories will start up again  January 11 and 12.

Our catalog is accessible via the web : and NOW you can renew your own stuff. To place a hold remember two things-- You must be logged in (create your own sign-in username and password starting ONLY at the screen where you see search boxes, ) and you must CLICK ON the title of the item you want to place a hold on so that you see a button that says HOLD IT.  Click on that button and then save.  If you want to renew your own materials you must also be logged in, click on MY INFO, and click on the renew button next to the title you want to renew.  It will renew it unless there are holds or other rules saying it can't.  For instance, "14-Day" books can not be renewed.

If you want to request something you DON'T find in our catalog, 
Try Searching the NH Union Public Access Catalog or NHU-PAC.  
It's on the links page, and it lets you check to see if what you want is available anywhere
in other New Hampshire libraries (it Will tell you about UNH, but it Won't tell you
 what Dartmouth has.)  If you still can't find it, click on the  e-mail address below and
give me the title, author if available, format (book, DVD, CD), publishing date if you know it.   
If you have the time, tell us how you heard about it.  We'll call you 
when it's in or to tell you that we can't get it for you, usually the former.
