The Dunbar Free Library is a free resource to all residents in the town of Grantham.

We encourage and provide opportunities for lifelong learning and cultural enrichment for all families and individuals.

The Dunbar Free Library supports the expanding and diverse needs of the community by offering information for practical living related to work, school, and personal life.

We strive to maintain high interest and current materials along with the latest technological resources.

We serve as a community center that offers materials and programs for adults, young adults, and children.

 Late Fees

$0.10 per day per item

• Maximum late fee: $5 per item or the cost of the item.
• Fines must be under $10 in order to take items out.
• 1st and 2nd overdue notices are free.
• Final Notice:If you are billed for the lost item(s), you will be charged a $5 processing fee plus the cost of the item or late fees if the item is returned.

 

Friends of The Dunbar Free Library

The  Friends of the Dunbar Free Library sponsor programs and raise money to benefit the library. If you would like to become a Friend, pick up a membership envelope at the circulation desk.

TRUSTEE MEETINGS—2010 schedule

 

The Dunbar Free Library Trustees' meetings will be held at 6:30 PM on the third (changed from fourth 3/26/09) Thursday of each month from January to June, and August to October.  There will be no meeting in June, and November meeting is to be determined, but is strictly a budget workshop.  December will be held on the second Thursday of the month.  The public is invited to attend.
