For the 4th year in a row, the DFL Trustees are sponsoring a summer book discussion: "Stuffed" by Patricia Volk.
We'll be eating a potluck at 6:00 and discussing this food memoir led by Suzanne Brown of Dartmouth at 7:00 on Tuesday, August 10th at Town Hall downstairs. Books are available at the library for those who have DFL cards, but all are welcome.

Age limits are guidelines, not meant to exclude. Stories and Crafts are more complicated on Thursdays.
Tween activies:
for 10 and up Wednesdays July 14th "Stick to it" from 7 to 8:30 at the library, Duct tape crafts: learn a new one or show us one you know. August 4th Pizza and Games night 6:30 to 8:30 at the library, Apples to Apples, Uno, Clue, bring a game of your own to share or play one of ours. Enjoy pizza and lemonade while you play. Pre-registration is required for these events and there is a bingo card at the library of reading/library activities you can cross off as you complete them (all nine) and submit the bingo card for a chance to win a beach bag full of summer fun!
Second Monday Book Group
July's book is "Hedwig and Berti", by Frieda Arkin. Group meets at South Cove, 1:30 on July 12th. All are welcome, books available at the Library for those with DFL library cards.
Thursday evening book group.
This group is now meeting on the 4th Thursday. July's book is "A Reliable Wife" by Robert Goolrick, copies available at the library. Call for meeting time and location.
Book Delivery
For those who are homebound, we offer book delivery service. Just call the library and let us know what you want. There is a program through the state for free mail delivery as well, and now a new program allowing handicapped individuals free downloadable audiobooks. Call us for more information. 863-2172
